Happy Anniversary!!

Yesterday I didn't have internet, so here is what we did on our second day of our vacation!

We went downtown and rode the river boat cruise! It was about 20 minutes of San Antonio history while we got to ride down the San Antonio river on the Riverwalk. This was Kinsey's first time on a boat! She loved it! She's really been enjoying getting to see her daddy so much! He has had her most of the trip unless Mommy was doing some of the major things, like nursing!

Then we went downtown and walked by the Alamo! Kinsey was sleeping, but I snapped a picture for her scrapbook! We went to the Guinness World Record Museum and walked around downtown before going back to the hotel!

For dinner we went to Hard Rock Cafe for our anniversary dinner! Kinsey sang with the music and actually yelled louder than the music!

It was a great way to spend the end of our first year married! I can't wait to see what the next year has in store!

Family Vacation Day 1

Today we started our first family vacation!! We left Dallas at about 6:15am and headed southbound 35 to San Antonio! It took us about 5 1/2 hours and we only stopped 2 times! Yay Kinsey! We got here and walked the River walk a little and ate lunch! Then we came to the hotel and went swimming! Kinsey loved getting to play in the water with her daddy! After we took a big family nap, we went to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. Here Kinsey learned to bang things. I thought it was so funny, but the people around us didn't. Tomorrow we are going to Seaworld!! Can't wait to see how Kinsey reacts!

Family Saturday!

We spent the day hanging out with family! We went to Mckinney to eat breakfast, then brought the baby to my mom for her to watch her while we went to a movie with Michael's family! We then got the car packed for our trip tomorrow! 

Today Kinsey wore a BIG bow made by my bow lady off of Facebook! Her site is Bowtastic Baby! She makes the best bow! This bow came with some custom bows she made us! I love how big it is!! I'm glad I got to see how cute she is with this big bow before I bought some! Now I am going to get some bigger bows for her to wear!!

She's been teething really bad lately, so EVERYTHING is going into her mouth! I will be so glad when this tooth comes through! My poor girl!

Short and Sweet!

Kinsey was a little extra grumpy today, I believe due to teething, so I didn't get to take as many pictures as I normally do! Here is what I got..

Daddy Days!!

Today was Daddy's first day off of the 9 days he has off for vacation!! Wahoo!! We don't see daddy much except for in the mornings so it's nice to have him home for a couple of days! We spent our morning together like always just hanging out watching some Blue's Clues and Backyardagains! It's just something on in the background while we play and do tummy time! She loves those shows!!

After her morning nap, Daddy came downstairs and played with us and watched us sit and practiced standing! It was like she was showing off for him! She would scream until he would look at her and then smile. She loves him so much. Then we went to lunch at BJ's! It's become our favorite place to eat when we get to go out for lunch. They have great fish options and vegetarian healthy options as well! Kinsey loved getting to sit on the table and sit in daddy's lap instead of just sitting in her car seat.

I realized that I hardly ever take pictures of just me and Kinsey, so today we took a picture while playing on the floor! It's blurry, but I still love how much alike we look!!

One day down and 8 to go! About to get ready for our anniversary trip to San Antonio! Can't wait to see Kinsey at Sea World and at the Water park! She is taking in everything in around her, I just know she is going to love it!

Sitting Pretty

She did it!!

My sweet Mackenzie Brynn sat by herself today!!

We've been practicing for quite some time now. She would typically sit for maybe a second or two (5 at most) and then topple over. Today out of no where, she just did it!! Even better news, Daddy got to see it! We couldn't be any prouder of our little girl!

We love our Aunt Ashley!

This morning, she learned that she can stand in her excersaucer! She's always loved it, but now she loves it even more! Next is learning that the seat spins!

"Look mom! I can reach these finally!"

Today we spent the morning with Daddy like we always do! We took her first trip to the mall to get his work knife fixed and rode the escalator for the first time! While we were waiting, I noticed the teething monster has officially taken over my baby! She spent the whole 30 minutes trying to see what Daddy would let her gnaw on! 

 First: Daddy's phone (she tried several corners before she was done with this one)

 Third: Daddy's brand new sunglasses! (good news is she did this just enough to get the picture!)

This evening Kinsey spent time with her Aunt Ashley, while I did a Scentsy party at the house! They had so much fun going on a walk, playing peek-a-boo and getting ready for bed! It was such a big help having Ashley watch Kinsey! I got to catch up with an old friend, teach a new team member a little about selling, and get some new customers! Overall it was a great day!

I am so grateful to have such amazing people in my life! I am truly blessed by the life God has given me and the doors He has opened! Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Typical Monday

Today was a typical day at the Grayson household! Kinsey spent time with her daddy watching T.V. and fighting him for the remote. She started off just barely touching it, then slowly ended up with it. She's got her daddy wrapped around her little finger already! He took the batteries out and gave it to her!

We spent some time labeling some of my Velata catalogs today! She kept trying to hard to get a hold of one, so I gave in. It ended up being the cutest photo opportunity! 

Then we went to Gama's house (my mom) to let her smell some Scentsy bars that are only back for the month of July! My mom tried to entice her with Scentsy and it kind of worked! She enjoyed knocking them down from the tower she built! They worked on colors and Kinsey tried to taste them (as usual).

Shortly after Daddy left for work, she was being so sweet and cuddly!! We were playing on the couch and she just laid her head down on my leg! It was the sweetest thing! I just had to take a picture!

Tomorrow I have a Scentsy Party and Kinsey is going to spend time with Aunt Ashley upstairs! I am sure I will have loads to talk about tomorrow!

Kinsey's First Play

Today Hubby and I took Kinsey to see Peter Pan the Musical with his family!! I got her dressed in one of her new Mudpie outfits and we headed to the play! She did FANTASTIC!! She was better behaved then all of the 3 and 4 year olds! She spent the beginning on her car seat, then sat with daddy! When it was my turn to hold her, she fell asleep! She ended up sleeping through the second half of the first act, and intermission! During the second act, she sang some songs and actually watched the play! I only had to get up and walk with her once, and it was because she was singing a little too loud! Then we went to Mi Cocina and daddy fed her some avocado! When we got home, we had a little photo shoot in our new outfit!

Daddy's Girl!!

Kinsey LOVES her daddy!! They get to spend their mornings together after her morning nap! Today they decided to both take a nap on mommy! Daddy was on one knee and Kinsey was on the other! It was so cute! She also had her first experience with a sippy cup today!! It was a great start!
